Our farm is in Podsabotin, between Solkan and Hum. Šmartno, Dobrovo, Sabotin and Nova Gorica are all less than a quarter of an hour's drive away.

How to find us
The house is at the end of a lane outside the village, so here are the directions step by step.
From Nova Gorica to Solkan
The easiest way is from Nova Gorica. Drive towards Solkan.
In Solkan, left over the bridge
In Solkan, turn left over the bridge and start climbing towards Goriška Brda.
Through Podsabotin
Drive through almost the whole village of Podsabotin. Before the road starts climbing towards Hum, turn right over a small bridge.
600 metres more
From the small bridge it is 600 metres to our farm. Parking at the house is free.

By car, plane or train
From Ljubljana
Take the motorway towards Nova Gorica: 118 km, about an hour and a half.
From Italy
Gorizia is 14 minutes away, Cividale half an hour. Venice is 140 km away.
By plane
Trieste airport is about 40 minutes away, Ljubljana airport 1 hour 40. We can arrange a transfer at extra cost.
By train
The railway stations in Nova Gorica and Gorizia are 15 minutes by car. From there, take a taxi or a transfer we arrange.
By car from our house

A meadow, olive trees and broadleaf woods
The house stands on a meadow with cypresses and olive trees. Behind it the broadleaf woods begin, and right by the house runs a stream where crayfish still live.
